ACRS appoints new Chair of Assessment and Audit Committee

ACRS thanks Dr. John Fenwick AM for his outstanding contribution & welcomes Professor Colin Duffield as incoming Chair of the ACRS Assessment and Audit Committee

After an incredible twenty-five years as Chairman of the ACRS Assessment and Audit Committee, John Fenwick AM is retiring from his role. The ACRS Assessment and Audit Committee plays a crucial role in reviewing producer documentation, test certificates, and assessing certificate holders, ensuring the highest standards for ACRS certification.

ACRS extends its deepest gratitude to John for his considerable and meticulous contribution over the years. His leadership has been instrumental in maintaining the integrity and rigour of our certification processes. His legacy will leave a lasting impact on the industry, and we sincerely thank him for his decades of service.

ACRS appoints new Chair of Assessment and Audit Committee 

Stepping into the role as the new Chairman of the ACRS Assessment and Audit Committee is Professor Colin Duffield. Colin is Professor Emeritus of Engineering Project Management at The University of Melbourne and was until recently a Senior Fellow of the Law School. He has held various executive positions across academia and industry, including serving as a past Director of Infrastructure Australia and as a current Director of ACRS.

With over twenty years of experience conducting more than one hundred project assurance reviews on major projects across New Zealand and Australia, Colin brings deep expertise in engineering and project governance. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a qualified Project Director with the Australian Institute of Project Managers.

ACRS warmly welcomes Colin to the role and looks forward to his leadership in maintaining and further strengthening our rigorous assessment and certification processes.
